Shea Butter Babyyyyy
Shea butter is one of my personal ride or die products to keep on hand for my hair and skin. Honeyyy if you never tried it, you need to try it RET NOW! I love shea butter for it's many benefits; I'll share them with you ;)
Shea butter has many healing properties. It softens, soothes and conditions the skin. It is high in Vitamin A & E which helps even skin tone and fights aging. These vitamins also protect the skin from free radicals that can lead to premature aging and dull skin.
Shea butter also has antibacterial properties. When topically applied it decreases acne causing bacteria on the skin. Bonus, the fatty acids in shea butter also help clear your skin of excess sebum (oils).
It helps boost collagen production. Which results in plumper skin and lessens the appearance of fine lines. Shea butter also promotes new cell generation which can also aid in reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks and scarring.
Due to its anti-inflammatory properties it’s great for people with skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. It soothes the skin and relieves itching.
Shea butter in hair helps seal in moisture and prevents breakage.
